Gegenüber MTV gab Mark Hoppus ein Interview zu seinen Zukunftsplänen - dabei kam heraus, dass mit +44 erstmal nichts mehr passieren wird, aber vielleicht ein Soloalbum in Sichtweite ist;
Since late August of last year, I've been in the studio every week writing songs with the intention of putting out a record of my own. As of this week, I've got about 10 songs in various stages of completion and another 10 ideas that I still want to work on Travis has played on a bunch of tracks, and he's working on his own album as well. We totally support each other in whatever we're doing.
He's like a brother to me. I see him in our studio every week, and we'll be in the room of the studio he's working in, listening to stuff he's recorded, or he'll come into the room where I'm working and check out my songs. He's played on a bunch of them, and he's asked if I'll play on some of his songs. We collaborate and give each other ideas and support. That's what I meant when I said , 'No matter what I work on, Travis will be a part of it.

Der Tag ist gekommen, an dem der Name Wirklichkeit wird. Keine Angst, kein Weltuntergang – Die Forevers haben nur beschlossen, sich jetzt aufzulösen.
Auch unser neuer Sänger Erich konnte das sinkende Schiff nicht retten. Somit können wir uns nur bei ihm entschuldigen, dass es nicht länger gehalten hat.
Die Messer wurden nicht gezückt; wir trennen uns im Guten. Es war eine coole Zeit mit guten Freunden und guten Musikern. Danke auch an alle Bands und VeranstalterInnen. Die verbliebenen (geschätzten drei) Fans werden den Schmerz sicher bald verkraften.

Thanks to all the people who made our last tour possible. Thank You Nasch, for investing lots and lots of your time into booking this tour. Thank you Stefan and xChris for being awesome and thanks to Gogo for being the best roadie and friend someone could imagine. Thanks to the guys from Bail for helping us out with our dates in Germany and thank you very, very, very much James, Beth, Thomas and Hanna for making our time in the UK unforgettable.
Thanks to all our friends, families and everyone who supported us over the last years.
We played our last show in Exeter where Michael and Richard first had the idea of forming a band called "Everton". It seemed to be the right place and time to end this episode of our lives, so we won't play any more shows. Sorry.
We all knew that Everton would end eventually and nobody of us actually expected it to last this long. We struggled a lot in the last months to keep us motivated but at a certain point you know it is time to let go. For us, this was October 28th, 2009.

we say good bye Dear friends, we say good bye! 14 exciting years have passed since we met and found redlightsflash as a very versatile project, both musically and ideologically, which turned out to be way more successful and exciting than we thought. Today, still the same 4 guys, but 4 albums, 65 songs, 14 tours, 700 shows in 18 different countries later, we decided to break new grounds in our lives. We all look forward to these upcoming challenges and projects, but on the other hand it will get impossible to give Redlightsflash – our passion and family – the time it deserves. Recently, we had the chance to play the biggest shows in our history and we have recorded an album, that we simply love – and so we had the feeling this is the best moment to close the book. Or to quote Neil Young´s words: “It´s better to burn out than just to fade away.” The circle closes. We say good bye. The music stays. It all makes sense. So thank you and good night!
