As I'm writing these lines, we're enjoying a beautiful ride over the french alps. Nothing feels better than a spray of clean water and the whistling wind on a calm summer night. We make up for the last 5 weeks of rain across Europe.

As good as it feels, a cloud is waiting on the horizon – Lux, one of our most beloved family members, a tremendous musician and one of our best friends has decided to leave our collective at the end of this year. Noone is really able to find the right words for this, but who else can if not him:

"So, to begin with... I really must confess that the last 6 1/2 years were amazing and really good fun. I was allowed to learn so many things and was able to meet a lot of lovely people. though now I have the feeling that I want to do something else, and so I decided to leave my good friends, my brothers, Rentokill. Some of you surely know that being in a bands means to put alot of time and love into it, and after some while I figured that i'd like (and more importantly have) to put my time and love into my studies and my own music, which i really want to do proper. I hope you understand.

but hey, don't worry your heads my friends, maybe we'll see each other at some point again. be it on the road with some other band or maybe even at a Rentokill show, when selling you some merch or whilst hanging around at the bar

As you can see, love, time and energy is what we put into this project, our band, our collective, our life.

This is for those of you who are able to play guitar way better than any of us does. This is for those who know how (and why) to shout into a microphone on top of your lungs. This is for those who always wanted to spend a huge amount of time and energy on the road, in mouldy backstage rooms, in nonprofessional recording situations, in the smallest rehearsal room in whole Austria.

!!!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW GUITAR PLAYER !!!

Please remember – after all, we are a political punkrock band that's working hard for literally no remuneration. WE ARE IN LOVE WITH WHAT WE ARE DOING! SO SHOULD YOU!

We play up to 100 shows a year, and we are still going for more. We love playing in front of 2 people as much as in front of 2000, and along the last 160000km, we spent more nights on floors than in hotel rooms. It can be a really tough racket to be in a band, but mostly everything turns out cool in the end. We don't think about our future because... well, just because. You'll like it!

We're located in Austria, where we're split up between Wiener Neustadt and Vienna, though we are rehearsing in Wiener Neustadt 3-4 times a week. We're all vegetarians and vegans, so this would be a plus if you were too but this is no must. don't be scared if you're not, we definitely won't force anything onto you. in general, don't be scared to get in touch, even if you don't think that you're the world's best guitarrero. playing guitar is a lifelong learning process.
