hmmm da haben mir die alten estate leiberl besser gefallen. waren ein wenig dezenter als diese monster aufdrucke

2008 is one hell of a year for LET IT BURN RECORDS. Never before we have enlargened our roster with such a great amount of bands within such a short time. The latest addition to the family are THE CASSIDY SCENARIO from Linz (AT). We have basically witnessed the whole band evolution since day one and were impressed by their extremely high degree of professionalism and dedication.
Risen from the ashes of Austrian supergroup ESTATE, THE CASSIDY SCENARIO break completely new grounds compared to their predecessors, musically and conceptually. Influenced by bands such as Will Haven, This Is Hell, Modern Life Is War, Poison The Well and Comeback Kid and with a restless 'on the road' attitude the bands career will further accelerate.
THE CASSIDY SCENARIO will release their debut album "Withstanding Voracity" on Let it Burn Records in early 2009. The band is currently preparing for the studio to record with Toni Meloni (Principal Studios / Caliban, The Sorrow, Estate, etc). The album artwork has been created by noone less than Dan Mumford (Gallows, Bring Me The Horizon, Set Your Goals, The Black Dahlia Murder, Architects, etc.).
Here's the band's statement on this signing: "To hell with all puff pieces about signing news and so on, here's what we all think: It feels good that there are people that like what and how we do it, people who trust us and who we trust. Thanks to the guys at LET IT BURN RECORDS for their efforts and their support. We know that they'll do an amazing job as they did with all their great artists in the past. Hello my dears!
Our first update on TCS for November, so here we go!
AUTUMN ARROGANCE RETROSPECTION
The Austrian part of the AUTUMN ARROGANCE TOUR 2008 is over now we're all more than happy how the shows turned out!
Apart from that we're all also pretty wasted after this "5 week-end marathon", but that's how it should be! haha
One more time we would like to THANK all promoters, every band we shared stage with the last couple of weeks, everyone who made everything possible and each one of you who joined the shows!

THE CASSIDY SCENARIO fast-tracking!
Dudes, here we go!
Hard work and loads of sleepless nights just to let you know this:
Our new album "Withstanding Voracity" is FINISHED!
This includes everything, from writing the songs at our practice place, banning them on disc at Suiseidl Studios, mixing, mastering AND the last touches on one amazing piece of artwork!
Our label Let it Burn Records has scheduled the releasedate for May 8, 2009.
We're counting the days...
To celebrate this special moment with you guys, and also to give you a hint what to expect from "Withstanding Voracity", we decided to upload two tracks of the album right away.

Eat these songs, drink them, inhale them and enjoy them as much as we do.
Secondly we want to announce that the search for a new guitarist has been successful extremely quickly!
Just one of the first potential dudes we checked out proved to be a perfect match for The Cassidy Scenario.
Please welcome Tom "Cassidy" Hauser! He's one hell of a guitarist and has been friend with the band since day one.
And he works at a music-store, perfect for gear nerds like us hahaha!
Alright, more news coming any day soon.

Hey out there!
Here's a little update concerning TCS and our end-of-year review.
Our new EP is finished and we'll upload a new song and introduce you our new singer as soon as our new myspace profile is ready.
He's doing great and the first shows with him were a blast - it's definitely the next step for Cassidy - you will hear it on the new songs soon.
We're going to release the whole EP or a few songs on a split around April 2010 on Let It Burn Records/Soulfood, I'll let you know more at the earliest time.
There are also many new shows coming up for early 2010 in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden,... we can't wait to get out on the road in March 2010 - the whole dates should be up soon also.
