Foo Fighters-Bassist Nate Mendel hat gerade sein Schauspiel-Debüt hinter sich. Ob seine Nebenrolle in dem Film "Our Burden Is The Light", der auch in den USA nur auf DVD veröffentlicht wird, der Grundstein zu einer großen Schauspielkarriere ist, bleibt abzuwarten. Mendel zeichnet auch für den Soundtrack zum Film verantwortlich.

infos zum kommenden album..
We've been in the studio for the past month and a half, and we've got about another month to go. We've been recording with our friend Gil Norton. He worked on our second record, he's a good guy and he makes amazing albums. So we're making a really big powerful record, which I'm very excited about and I cannot wait to finish. I'm not saying I'm not having fun., I'm saying I can't wait to jump on stage and do this stuff, it's gonna be great.

The Foo Fighters recently appeared on the BBC's Jo Whiley Show, performing live during the program's "Live Lounge" segment. Along with material from their upcoming sixth full length Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, the band has given the opportunity to cover a song they admire. The band took on "Keep The Car Running" from the new Arcade Fire record Neon Bible.
